"Delnor Construction Ltd. acting as the Construction Manager for Capital Region Housing Corporation retained Kerr Interior Systems for the structural exterior wall system, the structural floor slab and the interior drywall for the construction of the 62 suite Matheson Manor Project located at 10726 Ð 103 Street in Edmonton from May to October of 2005.
The exterior structural was system complete with windows and a finished stucco exterior was constructed by Kerr Interiors in a warehouse condition and the panels were craned into position when they were completed. The structural floor system was installed on site on a floor by floor basis and concrete was poured into the Comflor floor system when installation was completed.
The entire system went together on site with very few problems even though this was the first major undertaking of this nature by both Delnor Construction Ltd. and Kerr Interior Systems Ltd. The project received rave reviews from both the Owner and the Architect upon completion. There has been a minimum of call backs for any warranty work.
Overall the project went very well for everyone concerned despite having to implement a system for work of this nature that was new to the entire construction team. The installation of the mechanical and electrical systems worked very well with the system and we would recommend use of this system or any system similar to this to any of our clients in the future."
